outstanding, far above and beyond the call of
duty, we could go on and on endlessly with
superlatives describing the performance of the Bell
Inc. Acoustical Removal and Texturing staff. If he
were still around, you'd give Michelangelo serious
competition in ceiling restoration and texturing!
I love a big bowl of
popcorn in my lap, but I couldn't stand to look at
the aged popcorn splattered across our ceilings.
While once appealing, the acoustical popcorn ceiling
harkened back to the tastes of a former era; it
seriously distracted from our efforts to beautify
and modernize our home.

effort to setting up plastic sheeting and tarpaulins
to contain what otherwise, in less skilled hands
could've proven to be a house-wrecking mess. Ours
was a large and complex job requiring several days
efforts. We were delightfully surprised how, at the
end of each work day the crew stripped every room of
the layers of protective materials, allowing us full
access and use of our home during the stages of
work.

What a huge
difference! We had Jim Bell and his crew remove the
ugly "popcorn" from our ceilings and had them
textured and painted. We are so happy with the
results! We have several cathedral-height
ceilings so the end result is that the house feels
much more open now and modern.

I live in a 27 year
old house with acoustic ceilings throughout. I have
been wanting to remove our popcorn ceilings since we
moved in because of the look and the musty smell
that was trapped in the ceilings from years of
cooking, previous smokers, etc.
When we finally had
the money set aside for this huge project, I did
hours of Internet and BBB research. After all my
research I chose Bell Acoustical - they had good
referrals, great BBB ratings, were very friendly
and offered a very competitive rate compared to
the other companies I researched. After so many
years of building up the amount of work and mess
that would be involved, I was very skeptical and
nervous going into this project.
I was so pleasantly
surprised that having the entire house scraped,
re-textured and painted required minimal
preparation on my part, very little
inconvenience of having to be out of the house for
only part of two days, and only minor clean-up after
the removal and re-texturing part of the process. I
was even more pleasantly surprised and pleased when
the painters not only painted the ceilings
throughout the entire house but also touched up
every single room with the original wall paint I
supplied them along the wall/ceiling seam to create
a smooth professional edge. They also left no
signs of ever having been there. There was no
clean-up involved at all on my part!
Now my ceilings are a
gorgeous texture with a professional paint job. I
highly recommend Bell Acoustical to anyone who
is looking to update their house for a reasonable
price!
