Bell Acoustical Removal, Texture & Painting Inc, owned by the Bell family, is a family run business that began in 1990. We are the original popcorn ceiling removal company in San Diego County. We use a proprietary tool that we invented, called “THE SCALPER”, that makes the job very clean and efficient. No other company uses this tool, as we do not rent or sell it. Using the Scalper, we are able to scrape popcorn ceilings in one day, up to approximately 1500 square feet and offer ceiling painting a day after it dries.

We provide residential and commercial ceiling services at every level and are prepared for any ceiling service you need. First we remove old popcorn ceilings and then we apply a custom, semi-smooth skip trowel finish, all within one working day. After the textures dries for 24 hours, we come back and apply caulking and paint to the ceiling. We are fast and efficient.
